Story content: This HBO five part mini series tells a sad and serious man-made accident: in 1986, a large-scale explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Soviet Union released radioactive materials not only to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, but also to the Scandinavian half island and Western Europe. From the moment of the explosion in the early morning, after the chaos and loss of human life in the following days, weeks and months, the government has habitually tried to shirk its responsibility and dilute the danger of the disaster, ignoring the lives of the residents, and highlighting the heroic deeds of other victims.
