European mansion owned by two kindly two but eerie dollmakers who take in a group of stranded travelers during a rainstorm. As the storm rages on, it becomes apparent that room after room of handmade dolls and puppets are observing the human guests with a very critical eve and passing swift and deadly judgement on those of less that sterling character including a pair of Madonna-styled thieves and a little girl's petty, abusive parents.
