Based on Murong Yaner's popular novel, Hunan TV's 2011 anticipated period epic Qing Shi Huang Fei is the first TV drama from Ruby Lin's production company. The actress/producer herself takes on the starring role of Fu Ya, a fictional princess of the Chu state in 10th century China. In this time of warring kingdoms and political upheaval, Fu Ya's uncle usurps the throne, and brutally wipes out her family. Yan Kuan and Wallace Huo co-star as the two most important men of Fu Ya's life, the Prince of Shu, Qi You, and the Prince of Northern Han, Lian Cheng. Qing Shi Huang Fei's all-star also cast includes Tony Yang, Kara Hui, Jennifer Hong Xiao Ling, Liu Tao, Wang Lin, and Wang Yu.
