At summer before Y2K, eight youngsters became good friends by a coincidence. Alex and Gilbert are good friends and valued opponents. Crystal tries to help Alex to relieve his pressure. On the other hand, Gilbert develops a crush on Isabel, a pathological liar. At the same time, Crystal's close friend Kiki is disappointed in a love affair, Cyrus tries his best to comfort her and finds himself fallen in love with her as Moe also expresses her love to him. However, the sudden death of Gilbert make all of them firmly hold on the belief that "friendship and life is precious" and set a new start for their future.
