Based on the popular and long-running comic book series called A Man Called Hero, THE LEGEND OF HERO is the story of Wah Ying Hung, the son of a blacksmith, whose family possesses the mighty Red Sword. When his entire family is slain by racist foreigners, Wah avenges his family and flees with the precious sword to the United States. Once there, he trains himself to become a martial arts master as he attempts to rebuild his life in a distant land. Filled with eye-popping fights, THE LEGEND OF HERO is not only a live action adaptation of a comic myth, but also a moving melodrama about heritage, honor and unfulfilled love.
