The film tells the story of Kumagawa Tetsuya (Kubozuka), who has been in love with the same girl since the age of ten. When he discovers that Emi (played by Kuroki Meisa) is suffering from a terminal disease, he dedicates his life to medicine in order to find a cure to save her life. Things get even more complicated when they discover that the arsonist who started the forest fire in which Emi's father perished, has escaped from prison. Also starring Yamamoto Taro and Edison Chen.
